Memorials are primarily manufactured from granite and limestone, while marble and slate are also popular. Granite is one of the densest and consequently one of the hardest-wearing stones. However lighter coloured granites are often not suitable for outdoor use in Ireland, as the higher iron content can lead to rust stains. Popular granite colours include Jet Black granite, Aurora Red, Bahama Blue, Mid Grey, Impala/Rustenburg and G603 Grey Granite.

A large number of fonts and images can be added to the memorial, and we can also scan and imprint customised images from photographs and pictures. We would be delighted to advise you on the best image to choose in order to ensure the best results on the stone.
